G.T. Football Recruiting, 2017, (24).

I'm with you on both, the limb I went out on near the bottom of page 29 was for Sanders because this seems to be a natural fit(meaning it probably won't happen making too much sense).

I have a good feeling on Cortez Alston, having seen him play and his character being so strong. Might be jinxing that situation as well. Edited to add, two of his teammates including RB Zay Malcome just committed to Penn. He has a contact at Cal., also.

A bowl win or attractive game sure can't hurt our recruiting visits in January or any pending ones from December.

Please don't be a stranger this time of year. BAJ might want to hang me from the top of the Christmas tree, if he should become allergic to my posts or the pine needles(only joking he's a great guy, never complains, puts up with me, and probably has a busy life like you do). This is my only hobby, I shank at Golf.

These guys would make great additions to this class for sure. More positive press could never hurt. You never know what might happen when a coach leaves like Cook did. Those players really connect with their recruiters. The players need to finish strong for the seniors.

Thankful for someone willing to put in the time to keep all this information consolidated. I was surprised to see our little fellowship drop by one earlier. I still don't know the reason for the defection. Who knows what might happen in the future. There's another site who's parent company is going through a bankruptcy, so this site might see a few more fonts join the club. Also, I am surprised we NEVER see any posts from those on the pay site at all.

Update from the Shrine Bowl practices:

"Georgia Tech commit Jerry Howard upped his level of play as well on day two after a solid day one. The stout 6-foot, 210-pound back continues to show he’s a threat in the passing attack with more vertical routes up the seam on Tuesday. However, it’s the Rock Hill, S.C. product’s ability to run between the tackles that is most impressive."

Speaking of FCA's in another thread...
Tobias Oliver, offers: GT, Army, Mercer, Troy, Ga. Southern.....
Oliver is a gamer. He usually plays his best in big games. At the Elite Jr Showcase he was really impressive playing as an athlete and broke off multiple long plays. Oliver is an FBS caliber athlete.

Oliver Army All-American Nominee!
A GT commit!!

USC has been in touch with RB CJ Leggett (5-10 209) of Mesa JC, AZ and has talked with him about walking on the team this spring and possibly earning a scholarship for the fall. … former GT RB.

Jan. visits:
13th-TD Roof, Aliki Vimahi(14th), Bruce Jordan-Swilling, Tre Swilling, Dameon Williams, Antwan Owens, Jordan Mason.
20th-Zach Quinney.
27th-Leonard Warner.

Hey! I'm from the pay site. I literally didn't know this board existed until a couple of days ago.

Howard came into the week as a two-star, but after a week in which he was a load for defenders to handle during practice he looks like his stock should be on the rise. His tough running style seems like a perfect fit in the Georgia Tech offense and his productivity in the game shows he’s capable of doing it against good competition.

The final three visits are set for Aubrey Solomon(looks like G.T. is not getting an official, most likely out of the running)....
January 27, 2017: Official Visit
Aubrey Solomon officially visits Florida Gators
January 20, 2017: Official Visit
Aubrey Solomon officially visits Auburn Tigers
January 13, 2017: Official Visit
Aubrey Solomon officially visits USC Trojans

Thought I'd share what I just posted in "The Swarm" for Cortez Alston, since a question was emailed my way from that website.....
My understanding that CLO and CMP were the main recruiters, unless you want to give a little credit to some of the 13 commits already in the fold.
