G.T. Football Recruiting, 2017, (24).

Blue chip LB Leonard Warner wants to get an engineering degree in college... https://www.dawgnation.com/football...rget-leonard-warner-gets-closer-to-his-choice

The big factors in Warner’s decision

He aims to major in engineering and said Georgia Tech would be the best academic fit at the next level. Georgia does offer a degree in mechanical engineering which would suit him on that front.

“Trying to find better ways to make things go,” Warner said. “Like propulsion and creating energy.”

Warner is very studious, but the degree is just one of several factors regarding his choice.

“It is definitely going to be a hybrid,” Warner said. “It is a four-year decision that sets up a 40-year decision for my lifetime and my career. But at the same time if I’m miserable for four years I won’t enjoy that. I will regret it. I want to be sure I go to a place where I can see myself having fun, getting my education and living well for four years, too.”

This turns my stomach, knowing the load that the engineering department at the university is laying on these unsuspecting kids. there is no comparison at all...

Jordan-Swilling is the brother of Tre Swilling, a three-star Brother Martin cornerback who also just committed to Georgia Tech. Their father, Pat Swilling, is a former Yellow Jacket All-American linebacker who also played in the NFL. Their uncle, Ken Swilling, was a Georgia Tech All-American. Another uncle, Darrell Swilling, won a national championship with the program.

Info. on Ben Hutch, DT, is behind a paywall. Out of respect to that source trying to make a living, I will only share what my source told me last week....which is, he will be setting up visits and delaying his decision until after those are completed as this Sr. season(which started last week)means a lot to the student/athlete. Tech has many advantages. Also, he got to know Jas. Franklin and his staff.

If you look on his Twitter, you will find what I have been told is accurate. It appears he has set up a Penn. St. visit, already:

....any further announcements, after this announcement, is subject to what is known apart from any pay services. Contingent upon us all waking up for more time on earth.

11th annual O/D All-American Bowl is in Atlanta, Ga. this year for H.S. Seniors.
O is for offense, D for defense.

From Pat Swilling:

See you at Tech next year! Along with @TreSwilling & @BruceJSwilling
Josh Swilling1⃣0⃣‏ @Swilling10
Something Light -

....unless my brain has been completely consumed by parasites, it seems Joshua Swilling will end up at Tech with his cousins, PWO or Scholarship for him?

You've got about 7 left right at the moment, although I'm in your camp with Josh(take no chances and 'ship him up)...and just like you, I want a War Daddy up front and a rush end from the outside. An Irish Adam Gotsis, and a Jerry Attack-you type.

Let's put a few extra sprinkles on this class!

This Central Fla. commit could be a Ga. Tech flip(of course this would be a noble action, because he's now seeing the gold light-as opposed to the decommits that will come later, who are dumb traitors):

Justin Harris, DE
from La.
Offered by U. of Houston, recently.

...another New Orleans kid that Tech is going after hard:
BRAD STEWART JR. #5 Senior SS CB
McDonogh 35 High School
New Orleans, LA

We don't sign many, but if memory serves correct, we've had a lot of success from guys we've signed from the NYC-NJ area. Ricky Juene is one that immediately comes to mind on this year's team.

So correct. My mind circles from TE on Long Island, Tom Covington to Emmit Merchant from NJ., a speedy little target. O'Leary loved the N.E.(one reason CBR hired him, as Ralph kept running up against him for players between Myd. and 'Cuse).
