G.T. Football Recruiting, 2017, (24).

OK thanks. Sounds like he's on defense which means he's a real football player. I just need to know offense or defense because if he's defense he is 11 1/2 stars. If he's offense, then I might give him 7 stars. Might.

Didn't think about it but I would guess he would be defense so 11 1/2 stars for him.

Good article, thank you!

Was told in the 4-2-5, he's the 5 for now.
Also, hearing we may have a forth verbal soon enough.

Probably puts us about 19 behind Smarty-panties and 38 behind Ole yeller Missy.

I'm hopeful he's one of the 9 in stech's 6-5-9 defensive scheme he has drawn up for CTR this fall.

DB Lummie Young of Westside committed to Duke over USC and NC State. He announced the commitment Friday night. Some of his other offers were Cal, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech. Young had Duke ahead of USC thru the process primarily for academic reasons. He's a lifelong Clemson fan and they never really offered.

Tavyn Jackson DB 5-10/170lbs Tallahassee, FL 3-star 2017

We are taking one QB, and probably one Athlete who might start out at QB if we have attrition. Frank Harris is out. I'm not sure if we lead with any on our "A" list?

Malik Cunningham is most likely enamored more with our offense over our curriculum, but only speculation from a negative selling point Petrino was trying to lower him on. Not sure if it is factual. He might end up wanting the Ga. Tech challenge.

If you tell me it is someone who you are wondering about, I will research and try to remember to ask.

actually I was asking for someone else. A buddy said there was an unexpected visiting QB prospect over the weekend. I don't know what he meant by unexpected, I am sure the coaches knew about it, but maybe not the recruiting bunch. Supposedly this guy is highly respected by those who evaluate dual treat QBs. Sorry, that's all we know.

Jordan Johnson(remember that pain from last year), has been allegedly telling Frank Harris he is glad he picked UCF over Tech. Apparently enough to help tip the ship over.

Malik is a dual threat. I'll try to find out. Still trying to decipher who all showed up.

Good. Thanks to Jordan Johnson for helping us weed out some guys. Anybody who is so naive to listen to that "pain" to "tip the ship over" probably isn't going to do so well at Tech. Good luck to both of them at UCF.

I have him on page 11 of this thread from Sunday night, but to be totally honest-thought he was more of an athlete. Still is one, however in our offense/system, we can offer him that shot at QB as you all probably know following Tech football.....

What position do you think TD Roof will wind up at when he matriculates at The Institute?

He's a seek and destroy missile at OLB. I say bulk him up into that or a nickle back like Chris Reis.

This guy's way underrated! With his genes and temperament and already apparent skills, he should be on the scope of more P5 schools. Perhaps they knew he was GT all along? Hmm? Yes, he's a little undersized for a D1 LB, but a year of S&C can cure that. I'll take a roster full of athletic prospects like TD from great programs like BHS.

The idiots on 680 were dissing our recruits again yesterday. What a bunch of tools.

Loving these legacies like Cooksey, Roof and perhaps Swilling! That bodes well, IMHO.

Georgia Tech football commit. QB/K/P and 3B/RHP for Mandeville High School class of 2017. #2 ranked kicker in the nation by Chris Sailer #TOP12

Mandeville, LA·hudl.com/athlete/395426…

See page 11 of this thread. Rarely will you hear me rave over a can't miss prospect. This one has it all. Smarts, athletic ability and a leg that will make you cheer. Joe is a weapon. If you don't believe me watch his tape. Feel sorry for the pigskin.

With Davis, Pressley Harvin and Bulovas, kicking game in good shape for the future.

Dude! How often do you see a miss on a highlight film? You do when he misses it by about 2 feet and it's a stinking 69 yard attempt!!! Wow!

Did you jump the gun on this player ? I'm not seeing he is a commit at this time.
As you call it: I was stalking Twitter, or tracking as I'd like to put it. Because if true we only have two OLB spots, this SA wanted one of them. Purportedly, his social media account might have been hacked, as a cruel coincidence. If or when he verifies that publicly as an untruth, a deletion will be forthcoming.

We vow to state only true facts on this free site, unless of course we are void of all entertainment in our lives.
