The Gold OL had their hands full trying to block Brentavious in the spring game. I think we might have a really good DT in him. Cerge has already shown that he can man the 1-technique at a high level. I think our front seven is going to exceed the expectations of a lot of Tech fans. If our young secondary steps up, this could be a good year for Ted Roof's defense.

This is his time to shine, become a leader with Pat. Gamble on the DLine. He has given the coaches hope during practices, especially this spring. They want to see his consistency during games. If he produces, forcing the opponents to double team him like Adam Gotsis did...it should free someone up. Loads of "potential", his middle name.

His H.S. Coach Kremer on what makes Cooper a unique player: “Kenny has a very quick first step, which is very hard to coach. Not everybody at the ACC or SEC level has that great first step, and Kenny possesses that for sure. Very explosive and very tenacious. He plays until the whistle blows, which at a young age of 18 years old, he knows how to play the game and he plays it very hard.”

My son played against him many times. He doesn't always play until the whistle blows. But he does have good quickness at his current size. I hope he grows into Kremer's coach speak.

Does that mean he doesn't give his all in practice?
no it means his effort is not always the same. Some people call it taking a play off, but that's not really it. Sometimes people have said that if he knows he's beat, the play becomes over then. instead of fighting through it until the whistle.
