Josh Swilling landed his first college offer last night from Hampton. Swilling has football in his blood and a lot of potential at the next level.

Ahhh, thanks. I live in Virginia, so forgive my ig-nernce, but is starting spring FB practice in May the norm for Georgia schools? Just curious, that's all.

For some reason, my memory going back to when I was a skinny cornerback in HS 35 years ago that we started spring FB in late March. I distinctly remember the spring sports coaches battling with the FB coaches (who were kings at my HS) about dividing FB players' time between spring FB and other spring sports (for me, beesball). Maybe starting in May when a lot of spring sports are winding down - at least the ones not sniffing postseason, I guess - makes better sense. I dunno.

Noticed throughout recruiting sites, Ga. H.S. spring practices and games are throughout May. Might have seen a few April ones that were after spring break it seems. Memory is getting lost. Old.

You other guys(Cam. excluded)are old. You started school after Labor Day. You brought your lunch. You didn't get breakfast at school, unless somebody was selling chocolate bars. You believed in Santa Claus. You(Stech81 pushed a sled, that did not belong to St. Nick, instead of weights). You(JT622, and myself)had workouts for baseball after Christmas. You were a skinny CB, the operative words being thin and no steroids. You could play two sports(like me running track)because one sport was not year 'round like they are today. You guys remember The Platters, and I am not talking about the platters of food these huge guys eat today.

I have a school(ASD-3)I.E.P. Meeting on the 21st at 2:30 p.m. Probably would miss the game afterwards by driving from Duluth. We will make it to one of his games this year. I will find the schedule and post it on that other thread we have going. Wish him our best. Asking Brad to inform CRW about the spring game time. They probably know, but it shows them that we care too!

Stech-let me know if you need me on the 20th. Can keep him out of school, bring him with me. Praying this is outpatient?
