GTMBB Recruiting, 2017.

2017 Sarasota (FL) Riverview wing Brion Whitley had a fantastic travel season with D3 M.O.A.M, as he showcased his impressive scoring prowess consistently. The physical power wing started out the spring being a tough finisher at the rim, but, by the end of the summer, Whitley became a consistent shooter from the perimeter, too.

The 6-foot-4 wing reeled in a number of scholarship offers with 4.0 GPA and play over the summer. He's now down to four schools: Harvard, UNC-Wilmington, UT-Chattanooga, and Wofford.

JP Moorman-

Richmond – has been the hardest team recruiting me. They don’t a great job of not smothering me, but keeping in constant contact

Temple – is in a good place right now, building toward success

Cincinnati – they have showed continued success over the years

UNCW – they are an in-state program and coming off a big tournament run

Georgia Tech – Coach Pastner could help me develop a ton, help me become who I want to be

Clemson made the final 6 with 6-8 Ejike Obinna of Ashburn, VA. The others are Oklahoma, Florida, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt

really, Alabama?
Avery Johnson has been recruiting Sexton hard dating back to the HS season, when Sexton actually started blowing up and BG hadn't even offered him.

A lot of good activity this past few weeks as lists get pared and a great job keeping up here. I think we'll ultimately land more foundational players in 2017, but head in the right direction. 2018 & beyond, I think we start landing more superstar type talents.

Wilkes & Moorman received GT picks in the 247 Crystal Ball over the past few days, but I think both will still be tough pulls.

I need to revisit Moorman, but have watched some of Wilkes' film and I think if you land either him or Jordan Nwora, I'm pretty happy. Both are killer shooters as combo forwards.

Watched Jordan Nwora in the Long Beach, Calif. tourney. Super, sensational are a few adjectives to describe his offensive game. He can score, finding the opportunities most trips down the court.

Savion Flagg, cutting list as this is the pre-announcement prior to the announcement, which precedes the ultimate announcement of a verbal to one or more schools, which will not be official until one of the two signing days takes place. Naturally if a coaching change occurs at said school, the athlete is free to either sign again with another college or just enroll next year without a L.O.I.

Thanks for announcing that announcement, mate. You're getting good at this announcing announcement about other announcements stuff.

Well done (as usual).

Believing this knocked a few more schools off the list(I'm better at counting the Garbonzo beans in the salad):

....maybe only one school?

Please revert back to watching the Jerry Springer show, Jackets have no "fight" left with this one as a finalist...before the next pre-announcement to the announcement:

Collin Sexton, 6' 2", 175, PG

No one improved his stock more from last December through the summer more than Collin Sexton, who ranks as a top-10 player on Scout. Sexton is arguably the most aggressive and competitive player in the 2017 class. After leading the USA Basketball U17 team in scoring and assists at the World Championships, he played well in Las Vegas and led his camp team to a championship at the Nike Skills Academy.

Recruiting: Alabama Crimson Tide, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Florida Gators, Villanova Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, North Carolina Tar Heels, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Iowa State Cyclones, NC State Wolfpack, Arizona Wildcats.
