This sounds like another Jamal Haynes, maybe the Jackets should take a visit:
The state's hottest running back is Lanier’s Tojuan Peyton Jr., who is Class 5A’s new rushing leader.
Peyton rushed for 421 yards on 27 carries and scored all six of his team’s touchdowns in a 59-42 loss to Roswell last week.
The week before, Peyton rushed for 283 yards and four touchdowns and scored a fifth touchdown on a kickoff return in a 42-35 victory over Johns Creek.
“He’s really hard to tackle,” Lanier coach Tyler Maloof said. “He’s a compact guy. He’s 5-9, 200 pounds, and it’s hard to bring him down on contact, and once he gets into the secondary, he has the ability to outrun people.
Peyton is committed to Memphis. Maloof said a handful of new schools have inquired about him after seeing his performances the past two weeks. An outstanding student, Peyton plans to graduate in December and enroll early at Memphis.
