Two huge matches on the road. If the VB's garner any hopes of qualifying for the NCAAT (a stretch goal IMO in CMC's 2nd year...an achievable goal in '16, IMO), we absolutely must get an upset W tonight at Syracuse. The Orange are sitting at 15-6/6-4. This is a winnable match for the Volleybees though. Being the losers they are, there is no free video streaming by Syracuse tonight. Live Stats only unless you are willing to pay for Syracuse's live streaming (are you kidding me, SU?). Match starts at 7pm.
Then, the Volleybees travel to Chestnut Hill for a 12pm match on Sunday against the Eagles. Boston College will be streaming live coverage for free (nice, BC!...pay attention, SU!). BC is sitting near the basement of the ACC at 1-9. However, the Eagles were leading Tech 2-0 at O'Keefe back on Sep. 27th and IIRC actually had a match point to put our gals away before the Volleybees came back in dramatic fashion and took the match.
After this weekend, the Volleybees return home for matches against Duke, Wake and Clemson...and all 3 should be W's for our ladies. We could see this team get on a nice late season run here...especially if they can get a W on the road tonight.
GO VOLLEYBEES!
