Jeff Capel who was M-Bob's second choice for GT men's basketball coach after Bryce Drew and only didn't come to GT because M-Bob supposedly gave him the cold shoulder while negotiating with Drew just lost two more starters to transfers before the season has even ended as PG Xavier Johnson and wing Au'Diese Toney both announced their transfers within 24 hours. Last year Capel lost his first signee at Pitt PG Trey McGowens to Nebraska via the portal. Holy smokes.
Capel is 14-36 in ACC play so far and 39-45 overall in three seasons.
Drew went 40-59 at Vanderbilt the job he picked over GT and was 0-18 his last season in the SEC.
Josh is 77-75 and 39-49 in ACC by comparison.
So as I always say be careful what you wish for when hating on a coach.
