These next two games are absolutely huge.
I loved what I saw at Notre Dame. I saw a team that fought hard and got caught up with two huge mistakes on two 40 plus yard plays. You take those plays away there is no way we lose that game.
We missed two field goals but I'm sure we can all forgive HB because of his epic 54 yard kick that sent us into OT at UGA...It hit the back crossbar....Call it destiny. I'm over that. Any other day he sinks both of those.
Taquon Marshall can run he really can. Skov is really powerful. I would like to see Marcus Allena lot more on the field. Did anyone else watch the spring game besides me? Marcus Allen was plundering through the front 7 and carrying DBs for 5-15 yards. He needs to get on the field more period. Play Marshall, Skov, AND Allen. Maybe play Marshall and Allen at A-back a little more to help with perimeter blocking. Really no point in burning the two redshiorts of weimershirch and Lands Davis.
The OLine looked pretty good. That Errin Joe call is an absolute joke. He did not hold. We score there we earn all the momentum and win.
Back to the point.....We lost to Puke last season. We deserve some revenge. CPJ is 3-0 at Duke. It's going to be raining. We need to run all over them. Play Allen as much as possible. He's been in the program a long long time and frankly I believe that deserves some playing time.
I hope Chris Milton, AJ Gray, Golden, and Demond Smith keep playing well. I believe our weakness at times on defense is our lack of depth at LB. Harrell might have helped a little here. Marcordes and PJ Davis are great but play some more 4-3 and get three linebackers in there.
Taquon Marshall was looked to often in ND, every time JT threw it to him he was covered. We need to get hkm open cause his only A-back run was like 17 yards and he looks fast as crap.
Does ANYONE else besides me think Marcus Marshall AND Marcus Allen should both be playing at A back for DEPTH and BLOCKING purposes?
