CPJ said next week they will probably go pads just on Monday and then shells Tuesday and Wednesday then a practice in Dublin on Thursday.

CPJ said that the punt return rotation is Brad Stewart, Qua Searcy and Omarhi Jarrett.

CPJ said the kick return rotation is JJ Green, Lynn Griffin, Dedrick Mills (CPJ said he is not starting yet so he is eligible to do it), Nate Cottrell.

CPJ said the Cottrell is still working to get into the A-back rotation, he is on the edge of playing along with Omarhi Jarrett. Said Nate is hurting from an execution standpoint because he has had so little practice time until now. Said he looks just as fast.

CMP and CTR said that Antonio Simmons is having a great fall and he seems very focused. He would start if KeShun Freeman can't go.

CPJ said they had a good live period to end practice today.

CPJ said he thinks that Terrell Lewis will start at SAM, CTR expects both to play.

Brant Mitchell is running with the ones at MIKE. CTR said that Chase Alford will play and play all three LB spots, they've cross trained him.

CPJ said he is hopeful that KeShun Freeman will be back for the first game.

CTR said that the competition at strong safety is still ongoing with Corey Griffin and Lawrence Austin, said it is very close.

CMP said that Tyler Merriweather is the 5th DE right now and with the scout team along with Trent Sellers. The rotation is Freeman, Rook-Chungong, Simmons, Branch, Saint-Amour at DE.

The DT rotation is Pat Gamble, Francis Kallon, Kyle Cerge-Henderson, Brentavious Glanton and Brandon Adams. Chris Martin is down with the scout team for now. CMP said that Cerge-Henderson was with the scouts last year so he told his guys to be ready to play, but he only wants to rep five guys with the varsity.

PJ Davis talked about his leadership role and wanting to go out with a big season. CTR said he has improved in his pass coverage.

CMP said they don't have one guy who is an elite pass rusher, wants it to be an overall effort.

Terrell Lewis said he learned a lot from watching Tyler Marcordes and the other linebackers and he is very excited to play a bigger role this fall. He looks very ripped, may be in the best shape of all the LBs.

Francis Kallon gave up red meat and he thinks it is making him better as a player, eating mostly chicken and tilapia as he has been studying NFL diets.

CMP worked with Dan Quinn in the offseason with the Falcons for a week for an internship to work on ideas on improving the DL and pass rush.
