CPJ said they are in the routine of practice and they have had two really good practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. Said the pace and quickness has been impressive.
CPJ said that Shamire is progressing but is still too heavy and needs to drop some weight. CPJ said that none of the backup guards have produced the way they wanted so Shamire has played more the last few games because of that.
CPJ said that Freddie Burden has been the best OL game to game, but he hasn't been as good as they hoped in every game.
CPJ said they moved Trey Klock back to tackle behind Chamberlain and Bryan and Gary Brown will backs up Trey Braun and Errin Joe this week.

CPJ said he wants special teams to be more consistent, said punt coverage was better, but the punts need to be better. They used another gunner and that helped punt coverage.
CPJ said that the 3rd down conversion numbers are down, but overall offensive numbers are only slightly off and still in the top 4 in the ACC. Said several ACC teams would kill to get GT's offense. Said that too many third and longs and bad pass protection have messed up the 3rd down numbers compared to last year.
CPJ said UVA uses a ton of window dressing (motion and movement) on offense and defense and both sides have to play their keys this week to have success.
Patrick Skov is still injured, CPJ said he hopes to get him back soon.
