According to this article a Wisconsin cornerback unenrolled from Wisconsin and enrolled at Miami, and he intends to play for Miami next year. Essentially bypassed the portal altogether. He claims Wisconsin would not enter him into the portal so he had to do this while the school claims there was some agreement in place that he would not leave.

The really interesting part is the NCAA’s statement which reads “NCAA rules do not prevent a student-athlete from unenrolling from an institution, enrolling at a new institution and competing immediately.” Or put another way, “there is now no need for the portal whatsoever, and if there was any doubt the NCAA is a completely useless organization let this serve as evidence to prove that point.”
