No doubt it was a year of missed opportunities. While we had some ups (FSU-Ireland and win over the U), we did not finish against the leg humpers and were unable to overcome Vandy-Referees.
Going into next season, I want to see us improve in the following:
1) Consistency on offense with more vertical threats in the passing game
2) Improve punting
3) Continue to get more physical as a team
4) Continued improvement on defense. With Santucci, I thought we took a big step up in performance this year
5) Play better through adversity. You are not going to get the calls you always want, so play through it.
I’m sure there are some areas I overlooked; but in spite of yesterday’s outcome, I am optimistic we are relevant again. The nation took notice of GT this past year and I for one believe the future is bright.
