Off-season topic for sure, but realized when watching an ACCDN upload of the ‘96 Tech-UNC football game (they’ve been uploading quite a few past Tech games lately) that CJ Williams was both a solid running back as well as an integral guard on the basketball team during his time at Tech. Did not originally know that (though I would’ve been like two or three years old then) and found it quite cool.
I know we’ve had some guys (Jones, Smelter) that juggled, or switched from, baseball during their careers. Any other dual-sport, Bo- or Deion-esque athletes that y’all can remember coming through Tech?
