As we all know, next season's schedule will be more difficult but we have a good core coming back and what appears to be a very good class of new guys. CURRENT STATUS
Georgia Tech has 79 scholarship players scheduled to be on the roster as of 9/15/24 who count against the 85 scholarship cap, plus nine freshmen who will join this summer. Tech needs to be at 85 scholarship players by the start of school in August. GT has 19 seniors this season, which means there are currently 25 available scholarships for the Class of 2025, including incoming transfers prior to that season. This does not account for future attrition that will take place due to early graduation, medical hardship, NFL, transfers, etc. However the NCAA is lifting the 85 cap in the future to a 105 roster cap.
