Updates throughout the facility await fans for Saturday’s opener vs. S.C. State

THE FLATS – A bevy of updates await fans inside of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field for Saturday’s 2023 stadium opener versus South Carolina State.

The most notable and visible change is the new Hyundai Field name, in recognition of Georgia Tech athletics’ multi-decade partnership with Hyundai Motor Company, which was announced last month. As a part of the historic partnership, new signage and branding will be seen throughout the stadium, including the presence of a Hyundai vehicle, which was hoisted into the facility on Thursday.

Another element of the Hyundai partnership includes the construction of the new Hyundai Nest, which is located in section 131 on the southeast side of the stadium. The Hyundai Nest is a new premium viewing area with exclusive concessions, available to groups for single-game rental. To learn more about bringing your group to the Hyundai Nest, call the Georgia Tech athletics ticket office at 1-888-TECH-TIX or email tickets@athletics.gatech.edu.

An additional premium area that is available on a single-game basis is the Lexus Deck, located in the south end zone. Seats on the Lexus Deck include access to a lounge area inside the Wardlaw Building. The lounge has been updated in 2023 with new flooring, fixtures, while the outdoor seating includes wide, cushioned seats with a stunning view of the playing field and the Midtown Atlanta skyline. To learn more about purchasing seats on the Lexus Deck, contact Matt Lanier in the Alexander-Tharpe Fund atmlanier@athletics.gatech.edu.

Introduced in March and new to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field for the 2023 season is the addition of New Realm Brewing Co.’s Ale of an Engineer to the selection of beers available for purchase during Tech football home games. New Realm’s Georgia Tech-branded Ale of an Engineer and Helluvienna Lager are available at concession stands throughout the stadium, including a brand-new New Realm Brewing Stand, which is located on the north concourse, adjacent to section 112.

Of course, the newest element to the Georgia Tech football gameday experience is Helluva Block Party Driven by Hyundai, which will make its debut beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The first-ever Helluva Block Party pregame concert will be held by DJ Envy, and will begin immediately following the conclusion of Yellow Jacket Alley (Georgia Tech’s traditional team arrival and pregame walk to the stadium). Permit holders for parking areas adjacent to North Avenue should make note of the new entry route from Centennial Olympic Park Drive (click HERE for map). For Saturday’s game versus South Carolina State, access to parking areas adjacent to North Avenue will open at 8 a.m. and stay open for the remainder of the day.
