Some notes going into the weekend-
Many in the state of Florida believe this weekend, following his latest trip to Florida State, Lake Gibson RB Jaylon Glover may pull the trigger on a commitment to the in-state Noles. I’m close to entering a FutureCast, but there just yet.
Speaking of Tallahassee, four-star QB MJ Morris will also be there. So, too, will their QB commit Nicco Marchiol and their other top target at the position in AJ Duffy from IMG.
Of course, the weather could prevent the team from even playing their spring game tomorrow, as the forecast is calling for heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout the day.
Speaking of Mother Nature, she may also prevent some from making the trip to Georgia Tech’s open practice tomorrow.
Mumu Bin-Wahad still plans to be there, and there are numerous others that are on the fence about it.
One player that has already visited Georgia Tech unofficially, New Jersey TE Owen Anderson told me recently that he’s looking to take an official visit to GT, Michigan State, and Illinois. Those dates will be finalized next month at some point, but based off of my conversation with him, as long as GT wants to be in the picture with him they will be.
Following the decision of Darren Agu to commit to Notre Dame, it will be interesting to see what happens with the board at TE. Ironically, Agu wasn’t even taken by the Fighting Irish at TE. He’s projected to play defense for them.
New offers would not surprise me. There’s been several in the 2023 class sent out this week, but none for 2022 just yet.
Going to keep this thread locked, as I plan to continue to provide updates throughout the weekend.
