That should seal the deal !!! That bowl game sucked in many ways. PJ's offense as he uses it is outdated. It is a proven fact that when teams have more than a week to prepare for it...they stop it. Without being able to pass more(and he had his best QB since Nesbitt and supposedly a better fit for his system) this O will not go !!! Woopteedoo we are a top rushing team but can only score against FCS teams or teams not having seen this O. WOW ! Bite the bullet, pay PJ and get an assistant with some motivation and recruiting skills. I have lost interest in watching and supporting this coach. He doesn't (seem) to inspire and drive this team Heck, Duke, yes Duke has moved by Tech (I know GT beat them) !!! Gotta do something BOLD or we are gonna go backwards from mediocre to cellar dwellers soon.

I hear what you're saying. It's so frustrating since I actually like the option.....I really like how opposing teams fuss about having to defend it. I enjoy the big plays that get spawned from it. I do think it can have big success at the Div I level, but that's where GT is running into the wall. It has be run with total precision, and with SPEED. We haven't had that kind of quick since Nesbitt, Dwyer, and Jones. Strange since PJ didn't recruit that group. Yes, Nesbitt wasn't a superb thrower, but he knew how to QB a game....he was a beast running the ball and usually made the correct read on the option. That ability to make the read is something Vad just doesn't have....and it's unfortunate. This offense looks like it's running in mud....could be timed with a sundial. Our defense is another issue, but until we can put some beef on the D-line we'll get beat up continuously. Add to that we have corners who love giving 10-15 yd cushions to receivers. Makes zero sense......Ole Piss tore us up continuously on the 5-8 yd down and out.......and we just put up with it. I really wanted this option to work, but maybe it's time to take a 2-3 year step backwards and bring in someone who can instill a pro-style offense and actually recruit for it. We paid to get PJ....I guess we have to eat it and pay to get rid of him.

you all sit right in the middle of a blue chip area ... I know GT has tough standards and isnt for everyone ... but hell Stanford does a great job with all that ... ND also ... hate to say it but PJ I would have to agree with the OP

looks like Vad agrees

Too bad...

I was hoping he'd be much better next year.

Time to start with a new QB in the spring.

Re: looks like Vad agrees

I would not be surprised to see the fighting White and Gold win the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2014.

I see a Georgia Tech versus Florida State matchup and an upset in Charlotte!

you mean coastal? I think UNC makes a move. Miami is also looking to have an uptick in talent.
