Just watching JOL TV, I cannot help but notice how our football team seems to possess humility, respect for each other, and in general a close knit group. I'm sure I'm biased, but they are very impressive teammates who clearly care for each other. They all seem humble and men with great character. I do hope to see some strong leadership emerge, and it doesn't always have to be the vocal type.
I don't think you can underestimate the importance of what a strong locker room means to a team's success. After seeing the quote from Lorenzo Carter on his demotion to 2nd string.............well, it just makes me proud to be a Yellow Jacket. I'm sure Lorenzo meant no harm by it, nor is he a bad person. I just think it says volumes around the difference in attitudes and how young men are taught the important things in life on and off the field. We have a great support staff at GT with Coach Sisk, Team Chaplain Derrick Moore, etc.
Toe Meets Leather.............please hurry.
