GT had a good visit with DE target Abdul-Malik McClain who is in California right now, but went to Mays HS and his mom and dad still live here in the ATL. GT also offered his little brother Munir McClain who is a top 2019 WR (6'3" 205). They are very interested in GT, look for an update soon on them.
CTR will have Kendall Williamson and WR Malachi Carter on campus this weekend. Big visit for both of them, GT is a major player for both players.
Hearing that a decision could come soon from DT target Austin Smith maybe on Father's Day, don't have a true read on where he stands though, he has been quiet since he is getting closer to deciding, but should know something this weekend.
CB/WR target Juanyeh Thomas is hoping to visit GT next week. Next week is the last chance for kids to visit until mid-July as the dead period approaches.
Things have been thawing with OL target Michael Maye, he is supposed to drop a top 5 or 10 this weekend, he pissed off the GT staff in the last open period by big timing. Apparently the lack of new offers has caused a change of heart on his part and some humility.
