CPJ said they will have maybe one two-a-day this year because of how the month of August fell and when school starts. Said the window of practice numbers worked out in a way that made it hard to do that much anymore anyways.

CBC said that he has really been pleased with how Marcus Allen is coming along and that he really likes how professional Patrick Skov is and what he brings to the meeting room. Said they are very interested to see how the guys look in pads.

CBC said they are focused on working with JT on his drops (drop back passing) and progressions as well as recognizing coverages in the secondary and how the WRs will react.

Nathan Cottrell had a good practice, still isn't blocking much yet though. Broderick Snoddy busted a huge run off down the sideline as well today. Christian Philpott looks really good and CPJ said that Brad Stewart and Philpott look like they can play immediately.

CPJ said Mike Summers needs to step up on camp, but that Ricky Jeune looks good as well.

CPJ said he is really excited about all the B-backs, said they all look really good including the two freshmen Mikell Lands-Davis and Marcus Marshall.

CBC said that Matthew Jordan looks better throwing the ball, said he worked on it a TON this summer and aims to stay at QB if possible.

CPJ said that they are aiming to have at least one freshmen A-back in the rotation to go along with Snoddy (penciled in starter), Clinton Lynch, Ike Willis and Qua Searcy. Said that Willis plays faster than the redshirt and true freshmen, but Clinton and Qua are getting faster every day.

CMS said that Shamire Devine is running first string RG and looks lighter on his feet. Said he is quick enough to play with JT and that he hopes he will embrace what he needs to do to be a regular starter. CMS said that Eason Fromayan and Gary Brown are splitting the second team reps at RG behind Shamire.

As of today OL 3-deep
LT- Chamberlain, Klock, Bryan
LG- Braun, Brown, Whitley
C- Burden, Marshall, Muns or Anderson
RG- Devine, Fromayan, Brown, B Morgan
RT- Joe, Stickler, Bryan

CMS said that Freddie Burden is someone he expects to step up in a big way this year.

CMS said that Andrew Marshall is healthy and has looked feisty in practice.

CMS said that he is expecting big things from the three senior OLs this fall in terms of leadership and a high level of play.

CMS also said he is mixing the groups up so that the younger guys can play next to veterans during some series and gain some knowledge and seasoning. They won't start setting depth until after the first scrimmage.

Pads go on Wednesday. CPJ said only one guy banged up so far and it was cramps from the heat.

CPJ said the S&C staff did a nice job getting guys ready for this season.
