BOTH CPJ and CTR said that Miami basically does the same stuff offensively and defensively as last year. Both sides have a ton of athletes.
CTR talked about how the defense needs to motivate themselves because the crowd won't be very hyped up down there or large in numbers. Said that they can't afford to dig a whole like Duke.
CPJ said Patrick Skov is feeling better and should have a big role this week. Said they will name the starting B-back on Wednesday after practice.
CPJ said that Butker has been much better lately including kickoffs, punting still sucks, kick return sucks and punt return hasn't been good.
P.J. Davis and A.J. Gray are still doubtful for Miami. CPJ said he thinks Davis will play, but was less confident about Gray.
CPJ said Miami always has quality player and he thinks they play a bit better at home and that is why they have struggled to win down there.
CPJ said that there is a lot still to play for and he wants to lay the foundation for the 2016 team. Said they have not won in the regular season in Miami and that is something other teams haven't done under him.
CPJ said he talked to the team this week about winning and how just eliminating one mistake here and there changes the entire season and they can start that now but not making mental mistakes because that one play may make a difference. Said they have to quit beating themselves.
CPJ said that last game the young guys played better than the older kids last week. Said there are no more big eyes from the kids.
CTR said Miami is really good putting their athletes in space and taking deep shots at times and the screen game, big part on the perimeter and interior.
CMP said that Kyle Cerge-Henderson is playing with great effort, he is just at a physical disadvantage right now, he needs time in the weight room to get stronger, but he is pleased with how it works.
CTR said at one point last week they had 4 freshmen on the field and he said they were functional and he was pleased with that for building for the future.
