CPJ said Tim Byerly may not play and they will see how is down the line. CPJ did not rule him out for the year. Said they are taking it day by day.
Jordan is #2 per CPJ, will play QB this week like I posted yesterday. Jordan has been at QB since Byerly went down. CPJ said he has been getting reps at both A-back and QB since camp opened and he had all spring so it shouldn't be a huge deal. Said he knows what to do. CPJ said there is no change coming.
CPJ said that they may play one or two more A-backs since Jordan is moving to QB for a longer period of time.
CPJ said they cut back practice a little today no pads because they had an extra regular with Monday since they did error correction on Saturday (normally Monday practice).
CPJ said the guys were focused and dialed in.
CPJ said the true freshmen are still learning and the game is about to get much faster with Tulane compared to Alcorn State.
CPJ said Tulane is athletic and you can see it watching them. Said the Green Wave D is good on points per possession.
CPJ said that the up tempo shouldn't be an issue.
CPJ said he thinks Tulane will run more. Stopping the run will be key, gets them behind the sticks, Duke ran 90 plays.
