said that Chris Griffin is cleared for camp and will go through it. CPJ said he feels good about 3-4 OL spots mentioned Freddie Burden, Will Bryan, Trey Klock and Eason Fromayan as guys he feels good about right now. Said Eason has lost some weight and is moving better. Said Shamire is down 30 pounds, under 370 now and they are hoping to keep up his weight loss momentum, but he is proud of him.
Talked about freshmen playing, CPJ said that Dedrick Mills is the most likely, said KirVonte Benson is explosive at B-back is still learning where to go so Dedrick is ahead of him, likes both a lot. Marcus Marshall is the starter there. CPJ said any other freshmen playing will be dictated by depth and injuries mostly in camp, OL and WR are the spots to watch.
CPJ said he was really excited about Qua Searcy and Nathan Cottrell.

CPJ said that JT is the leader of the offense and PJ has been working with him to improve his engagement and body language on the sideline so he can be a better leader. Said that JT beats himself up too much and would sulk on the sidelines when he needs to pump up his teammates and be there for them and JT is working on it. Said PJ Davis and Pat Gamble are the leaders on the defense along with some of the younger guys.
PJ said that AJ Gray had the best spring of any player and he is likely to become one of the all-time greats in GT history at safety. Said Brant Mitchell has a lot of potential as well. Said Brad Stewart added 15 pounds of muscle this offseason and looks good.
CPJ said it will be a little weird facing 7 teams with new coaches this fall or coaches they haven't faced because of coaching changes and new teams on the schedule like Vandy, BC and Mercer.
CPJ said he thinks the team WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY better than people think and he smirked said that he tried telling every last year they were going to have a rough year, but says the chemistry is MUCH BETTER on this team.
