Apparently there are many teams now contemplating abandoning Spring games altogether, while some are just making it more of a fan "event." Teams are getting scared of showcasing any possible hidden talent that could be poached post-spring and they are also trying to not get too deep into playbooks or schemes in Spring for fear that opponents on their schedule will try to poach someone from their team to gain knowledge and an advantage. Crazy times.
