Bruce Feldman of The Athletic released his "Freaks List" today outlining the top 100 pure athletes in college football this season. He's done this list for nearly two decades and it's pretty fun to see some of the ridiculous athletes in this sport get highlighted. Most recently I remember Jalen Camp and possibly Kevin Harris making appearances in years past.
This year Keion White comes in at #20 where Feldman points out "White has hit 21 mph despite being almost 300 pounds. He also has vertical-jumped 32 inches and done 38 reps of 225 on the bench press." He believes he is "primed to be a problem for ACC teams." Let's hope he's right!
One name on the list I had totally forgot about: Julius Welschof of Michigan coming in at #7. Former GT commit (2017 for CPJ) from Germany apparently has some pretty ridiculous measurables that are very comparable to Aidan Hutchinson last year. Insane strength, speed, and flexibility. Granted, he's a 5th year that has yet to make any impact on the field and is currently like 4th on the depth chart, so it sounds like he hasn't quite been able to put it all together yet.
