Have been in my hotel room in Cincinnati much of the day and AMC is doing it's "Mob-A-Thon" - Goodfellas, The Departed...Blow coming on rn. All great.

Got me thinking of all-time movies and curious to hear everyones' thoughts. It's impossible to narrow it down to just one, so I've compiled genres below and the ones that immediately come to mind for me. I know I'm leaving many out. Help me fill in the gaps.

The Shawshank Redemption

Independence Day

Horror / Suspense

The Sixth Sense / Signs

I feel like certain producers (Scorcese, Spielberg, Cameron, Cohen Brothers, Farrely Brothers, Happy Madison, Apatow, Stephen King, Shymalan though he has fallen off, etc.) deserve separate categories but that could be a separate thread.

No, I am not a Star Wars fan, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc. Though I appreciate them.
