(non-GT) Week 3 of the NFL season

Yep. I like the Falcons this week, though I wish Tevin Coleman were available. Devonta Freeman isn't durable enough to get 15+ carries and be effective. In fact, I think the Falcons running game will be non-existent this week. Ryan may air it out 40+ times...with some of those dumps to Freeman out in space where he is better suited. I am no Falcons fan, but I am this week against the Punks.

Come to think of it, I think Roddy White is available on the waiver wire in my money fantasy league and I may go snatch him right now as I think Ryan will have plenty of throws to pass around to Julio, Hankerson and Roddy. Go Falcons!

Ryan ended Roddy's consecutive catch streak last week by only targeting him once. I don't expect that to happen again.

Any expectations for the Redskins this week?

Just like CFB, off to a rough ATS start with posted NFL plays. 1-4 last week which brings me to a pathetic 3-7 for the season heading into Week 3. But, I won't give up. You can always bet against me and do well. :)

Oakland +3.5 over Cleveland, 1:00 CBS
The Cleveland offense is not good. Oakland has better weapons and it has been a long time since I've said that about the Raiduhs heading into a game. Getting more than a field goal? I'll take it.

NY Jets -2.5 over Philadelphia, 1:00 FOX
I'll fly with the New Jersey guys whose defense looks as good as anything I've seen all year. I've never been sold on Sam Bradford and was surprised the Eggles gave up Foles to get him.

Pittsburgh -1 over St. Louis, 1:00 CBS
And here comes LeVeon Ball back from suspension to add to Big Ben's arsenal. Not that DeAngelo Williams did bad at all though in replacement. *MY* Redskins shredded the Rams' run defense last week and I can see more of that happening. St. Louis just doesn't have much offensively. Steelers get it done with a small price to cover indoors over the soon-to-be-Los Angeles-Rams.

Arizona -6.5 over San Francisco, 4:05 FOX
I'll ride with the red hot Cards at home. Arizona looks strong on both sides of the LOS. Division games are normally head bangers and this one should be too. I just think Zona is better on both sides of the ball.

Seattle -14.5 over Chicago, 4:25 CBS
I know I know. Laying more than 2 TD's is a risk in the NFL, but I'll go with a pissed off Hawks bunch playing their home opener against a backup QB. And now, the Legion of Boom gets Kam Chancellor back (announced today). Two 0-2 teams. One which still could and probably should be a playoff team. The other is ranked at the bottom of 32 teams in the NFL right now...and that's saying a lot.

GLA!

Gambler's perspective... best bet is to play under 44. Skins will run and run some more eating clock. Skins have #1 D and #1 Rush O thru 2 games. Bound to change of course. Must try to slow down Beckham Jr. who ate them up in his one game last year. I won't play the side, but if I had to I would take the Skins getting 4. My guess...G-Men win 20-17.
