Most prospects in the Southeast have completed their 2016 campaigns, and the postseason update to the classes of 2017 and 2018 rankings are near. Here is an early look at several regional prospects whose stock are moving either up or down.
Leonard Warner
Recruitment: Warner is considering Georgia, Stanford, Georgia Tech and Duke with a decision expected to come sometime soon.
Analysis: Warner is another prospect who has been a four-star from the early going but now he has developed into more of a traditional middle linebacker, something that will be reflected in the next rankings update. In addition to always being around the ball and coming in as one of his team’s top tacklers, Warner has also shown an ability to make plays on the ball when it matters most. Having played everything from quarterback to running back to linebacker in his career shows how versatile he is and he should only continue to blossom as a full-time middle linebacker.
