We, seemingly ALL, have taken a shot or two at our current Athletic Director. And my guess is a poll taken on his job performance would be closer to 90% bad than 10% good. I suppose many of you have seen this "report" from Bobinski on Ramblin` Wreck. But for those who haven`t, I believe it is his attempt to make us feel good, or at least better, about the status of our AA .
It would be unfair IMO to TOTALLY pan this report, as many of us could and will do. But I will at least give him credit for his attempt to be optimistic about several positives, i.e. financial improvements . But he has omitted (avoided?) any concrete PLANS and GOALS which he hopes to pursue, which IMO again, that would make us all feel like HE is doing a whole lot to earn his salary.
This could be something to kick around as we await recruiting or other MAJOR subjects to appear.
