Do you think we land a few of our top D targets?
Yeah I think GT will, Askew was basically the top CB on the board even ahead of Tre Swilling so they are off to a good start.
Which true freshmen do you believe will get in the two deep roster this fall? With Jamal Golden gone, who do you believe will return punts and kick offs?
In the two-deep, Parker Braun is the only one I see right now in the two-deep. Injuries and camp performance will dictate what happens with the rest. Kick return is supposed to be Marcus Marshall, Nathan Cottrell (if his knee is good) and Qua Searcy and punt return Searcy and Omahri Jarrett

Not sure what you see. If you are talking about the ads, they are based on your browser history so they can get odd or humorous based on what kind of cookies you pick up.
Has KeShaun Freeman been able to add any weight this offseason? I was disappointed that he only gained a few pounds between his freshmen and sophomore seasons.
I should know more about him next week. CMP felt good about where he was. I think his upper body strength was more of an issue than weight. Freeman has said that as well, he wasn't using his hands well and that is supposedly been his focus.
Do we have a good shot at any of our top '17 hoops targets?
Yeah hard to say right now though, I think everyone wants to see what GT looks like on the court and to get to know the staff better.
Any particular subjects on which you think JOL posters bring a lot of game?
I find that everyone on here is very interested in lots of topics and not just football.
You oversee three boards and have had experience with other fan bases. How do we compare? Do others fear the Alocalypse more or less? Balance of sunshine pumpers vs doomsday prophets? Civility and maturity of exchanges?
Every board is pretty similar, some focus on the good and some the bad. I think everyone has things they hate about their program. UGA wants to be Bama so badly it is comical and they don't understand why they haven't won a title. GT can't understand why they can't recruit against Clemson and UGA in most cases for example. Every board is pretty similar though, personalities are different.
My imagination, but is this year's recruiting results YTD night and day better vs last year in terms of depth of quality prospects at most positions?
Except for OL I think GT has more balls in the air than last year with guys they have a shot at that are pretty good.
When does fall camp start? How much time will the team be in Dublin preparing for the game?
Fall camp starts August 1st I think. I'll need to double check on that. The team isn't leaving until Wednesday night so they are kind of screwed because classes will have started. Supposedly BC will be there for 10 days because they don't start school until the week of the game, GT starts the week before and it is kind of crappy.
GT wins the the ACC if?
The offense returns to a decent form and the OL can stay healthy. I think the schedule is not crazy hard aside from Clemson here and at UGA. Miami will also be a tough out.
Any ideas on how coaches prepare the team for the time zone change? Eating/sleeping-------how early before game day do we arrive?
I'll ask PJ about this next week when we have the ACC Media kickoff, but my guess is they will do more morning practices than usual to peak the energy earlier. That will suck for me to cover, but would be a good idea for the team. PJ likes to get the team's energy peaking at the time they typically play.
When should I buy my tickets to the Clemson game? Now or wait til season starts? I've got myself and 3 Spartan friends coming along for the trip.
I mean if Clemson falls at Auburn then tickets will be easy, otherwise I'd buy them now, but I haven't bought a ticket for a football game since 1999!
What has changed with Duke's f/b recruiting to see their name mentioned in finals for many recruits we are after? Been to Duke and it has to be the worse game day atmosphere in P5 f/b.
Kids don't necessarily care about that. What Cutcliffe does a nice job of is using his younger staff and leaning on them to recruit. Cutcliffe is a very nice guy and very easygoing and easy to talk to so recruits respond to that. He spent a lot of time learning from a good recruiting staff at Tenn under Fullmer/Majors. His background is way different than CPJ who was at places that kids recruited you to so I think maybe that is part of it too. Duke campus is lovely enough and they can hide non-academic kids which helps.
What is the feeling around JT going into his senior year? Do coaches/folks in the know feel like he regressed last year or was it just all the inexperience and injuries around him? Did he lose confidence?
I think the kid was playing for his life last year and so did the staff. He basically had a bust on every play or guys going the wrong way or whatnot, hard for anyone to look good. What made him successful in 2014 was having guys who did their jobs around him and hopefully having some older and more experienced offensive weapons will make him look like the guy from 2014 and not the guy from 2015. He also was pretty bad up.
I want to see the JT I saw in the FSU and Miss St games in 2014. That was the best I've seen a PJ qb play...ever. Looked so cool and confident it was crazy
It was kind of amazing to see. Go back and watch some of those Navy games with Candeto or Lamar Owens and you will enjoy it.
Looking at pics of Will Bryan posted by his Dad a few days ago, he has pulling guard written all over him. Historically it seems to me (from memory) that CPJ runs more counter action to the left with the right guard doing the pulling. Do you expect Will may end up at right guard for this reason?
Will is left-handed and that is why they have leaned on him more to play that side. Maybe if he is more comfortable with guard they can look at moving him, but he needs to stay in one spot for a bit to get a hang of things and I think the line plays better with him at LG and Shamire at RG.
