We outplayed them and just got destroyed atrociously by the officials.
Like it's sick some of the calls that went Notre Dame's way.
First off as discussed before, chris Milton was pushed off on third and a marathon when Kizer threw the bomb to score their first TD. Just a disgusting no call.
Further, ERRIN JOE DID NOT HOLD when Justin Thomas rolled into the endzone from 25 yards away. That was literally a phantom bad, sick joke.
Third, Harrison Butker missed two make able field goals, and we easily should have scored a touchdown during that drive (the drive Harrison missed his first FG) 1st quarter. We were grinding, rolling down the field. Skov fumbled but recoved was smashing through their 5 star front seven.
JT missed Taquon on an overthrow in the endzone.
Taquon also had a big third down drop but his potential is so high can't be too mad at him about that. Lands-Davis and taquon Marshall are both disgustingly high potential..
As is Marcus Marshall.
When the game wound up resulting in a 30-7 score eventually, that was no indication of the game output. We were competitive and with two different calls we win that game.
Could have won Duke in the fourth quarter but really lost that game, got outplayed.
Losing to UNC and PItt is just bad luck. We dominated both of them offensively, really. Defense lost those games.
Clemson destroyed us.
We should be 5-2 at this point of the season after review. With losses to Duke and Clemson.
I can only dream that we have 5 wins right now salivating over a potential Peach Bowl or Cotton bowl bid...
But here we are at 2-5 playing a team that's 48-3 in their last 51 games.
Whip out a win saturday? Things have been weird enough so far to suggest that's a viable possibility...
