GREENSBORO, N.C. – Atlantic Coast Conference head coaches selected No. 11 Georgia Tech baseball as the preseason favorite to win the Coastal Division, the league announced on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets received eight first-place votes to tally 91 total points – more points overall than any of the 14 teams in the league. The next two teams in the Coastal Division were Virginia (77 points) and Miami (71).

Georgia Tech will look to become just the fourth ACC team to win three-straight division titles since the conference split into division championships in 2006 and the second to do so in the Coastal – Florida State (2007-14), Miami (2014-16) and Louisville (2015-17). Since head coach Danny Hall took over in 1994, only one team in the ACC has won more regular season and divisional championships than Georgia Tech’s seven (FSU, 11).
