Georgia Tech will be very active in the transfer portal and with the tournament and NIT and other smaller ones still going more guys will be entering the portal in the coming weeks. Some guys will also submit their names to the NBA just to get feedback and then will enter the portal. Here is a look at where GT stands with portal targets as of today.

Thanks to MyPerfectFranchise.net for bringing this to you.

Here is the latest on all the key guys at the moment.

SG- Will Richard (Belmont guard) is GT/UF deal, he is OVing to UF and then to GT last. UF visit starts Thursday if he does not commit on that visit, that is good news for GT.

F- Hayden Brown (Citadel) still looking good. I think GT is in the lead there.

C- Kalu Ezipke (ODU) remains if he wants to finish up this summer he can come to GT, if he cannot or does not want to do that at ODU, then GT is out and he is looking at five other programs, Cincinnati, Georgia, LSU, Western Kentucky, and Pitt.

SG- Colby Rogers from Sienna (ironic) is hearing from GT, from Covington, GA (Newton HS) but played his final HS season at Roselle Catholic HS (N.J.).

Averaged 14.1 ppg, 42.9% 3PG last year in his one season at Sienna. Was at Cal Poly before that.

On Colby Rogers he would have to sit anywhere he transfers to because he has burned his one-time transfer, but is a good 3-pt shooter, he might make sense for that 5th opening.

C- Jake Stephens (VMI) the hold-up is he is concerned if he can play at the ACC-level or not. GT has also been heavily in touch with him, but he may be leaning toward following his HC to Chattanooga.

F- Alex Fudge is still in the mix again Florida is heavily involved there as well.

GT are still recruiting big man Johni Broome (Morehead State)

GT got no traction with SG Mark Sears from Ohio, he is down to really Alabama, Miss State and Texas.

GT is not recruiting Manny Bates the NC State transfer with two surgically repaired shoulders as there is no mutual interest.
