ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia Tech volleyball (8-1) made a statement on Friday night, rallying after dropping the opening set to dominate Georgia (6-4) in four sets (15-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-14) inside Stegeman Coliseum. The Yellow Jackets out-hit Georgia .365 to .000 over the final three sets, earning an eighth consecutive victory.

- The Yellow Jackets have now won three straight matches against SEC opponents.
- Tech ends the non-conference schedule with an 8-1 record. The White & Gold have entered ACC play with one or fewer losses in four of the last five seasons.
- The Jackets have won eight matches in a row, the longest win streak since 2021 (10).
- Senior outside hitter Tamara Otene led the team with 20 kills (.318 hitting) and a season-high 19 digs, her team-leading fifth double-double of the season and the 27th of her career.
- Otene was one dig shy of completing her third 20/20 double-double. She is the only Yellow Jacket in the modern scoring era with multiple 20/20 double-doubles after doing so in consecutive matches last season.
- Senior outside hitter Bianca Bertolino filled the box score yet again, making a season-high 19 kills on .317 hitting to go along with seven digs, three blocks, three aces and two assists.
- Bertolino has now made 140 career aces, the eighth most in program history and only three away from tying Margaret Gales (1986-89) for 7th.
- Senior setter Luanna Emiliano secured a season-high 45 assists while also making 11 digs for her 68th career double-double.
- Junior libero Sofia Velez delivered 13 digs in the back row. She has now made 10+ digs in all but 2 of her 88 matches played in college.
- Junior middle blocker Liv Mogridge was dominant, as usual, at the net. She made five blocks, including a solo block. Mogridge has now made at least one block per set in four straight matches and seven of nine this season.
