Could've swore I saw where this week's event was in Memphis, but losing my mind I guess. The Florida swing is still in play for the 4th and last week in a row in Orlando.

5 Jackets will be participating - the same as last week less Hadley:

  • Roberto Castro (88 in FedEx Cup standings)
  • Stewart Cink (106)
  • Matt Kuchar (57)
  • Bryce Molder (115)
  • Cameron Tringale (68)
NBC will again have weekend live coverage. The earliest tee time of the Golfing J's on Thursday is Roberto Castro at 7:59am. On Friday, it is Cameron Tringale at 7:47am.

Typical spring weather in Florida this time of year features t'storm chances all weekend so they may be dancing around some weather throughout the tournament.

Kooch finished tied for 11th last week. That's a good sign I guess. On deck after this week is the World Golf Championships for a subset of the best golfers on the tour in Austin TX next week and another PGA event for the rest in Puerto Rico, where Chesson Hadley won a couple of years ago. Then, a lot of the tour will jam the Houston Open March 31-April 3 as the course has been molded to nicely simulate Augusta in terms of fast greens, etc., and players like going there to prep while competing for money. The Masters is only 3 weeks away starting April 7th - only Kooch and Larry Mize remain qualified for an invite though.

Tringale with a nice -4 (68) today moves him into a tie for 7th place and only 2 strokes off the leader.

Kooch and Molder finish even par. Castro (+3) and Cink (+5) have a lot of work to do tomorrow if they want to make the cut.

Tingale now -2 for the round thru 10. Sitting in 2nd alone now and 3 strokes off the lead as Jason Day is trying to run away with this before the weekend even gets here.

Molder finishes -1 today and will make the cut.

Castro having a nice day at -4 thru his first 10 holes to get to -1 and inside the cut mark at the moment. Hopefully, he can finish off his strong start.

On the down side, Kooch is +2 thru 8 making him +2 for the tournament and on the wrong side of the projected cut (Even par is in).

Kooch and Cink will miss the cut.

Castro finished off a solid day and makes the cut at -1 alongside Molder also at -1. Tringale is tied for 15th, but a whopping 8 strokes back of Jason Day who is scorching the course sitting at -13 thru 2 rounds.

Molder is finishing off a very nice final round (-5 for the day thru 17 holes) which will earn him a nice payday as well as move up the FEC Standings a bit.

Tringale is -2 thru his first 7 today as he is now at -7 for the tournament and tied for 19th - just 2 strokes off a top 10 position.

Castro will also likely hold his position in the FEC Standings as he is -1 today thru 16 holes and -3 for the tournament.
