Who would have guessed that GT would be in the final few for so many highly ranked high school recruits?
I sure didn’t expect it when Key was named head coach. Most of his coaching experience was OL at UCF.
He must be one heck of a sponge learning from his mentors (GOL and Saban.) He must also have one heck of a personality that football players can relate too.
The likelihood of breaking through recruiting like he and his staff have done in such a short period at a high academic school surrounded by SEC powerhouses is beyond amazing.
I hope he and the next AD hit it off well, that he gets the support he needs, and that he remains at GT for a long and very successful career.
