Former GT great, Aileen Morales, helped guide the Lady Jackets softball team in a huge turnaround this year. They are the 6 seed in the ACC Tourney...and only 1 game off being the 3 seed. All of this done without her first recruiting class...and really for softball recruiting is two years earlier than other sports. We signed 4 players last November for the Class of 2018.
This years record was 28-25 overall and 13-11 in the ACC after three seasons of (19-34, 8-16), (22-33, 7-16), and (16-34, 6-18).
GT hosts the ACC Tourney Wednesday through Saturday. Also remember that our GT ladies tennis team hosts the first two rounds of the NCAAT which is Friday/Saturday. FULL SOFTBALL ARTICLE.
