Week 12 Recap: For the second week in a row we had an 8-2 performance matching the best anyone has done this season. This week it was SPRITE6 who rebounded strongly off of his all favorites ticket while on a cruise last week. Everyone else went 6-4 or 5-5 with the exception of yours truly who brought up the rear at 4-6. With two weeks remaining, SPRITE6 has opened up a three stroke lead over BornAJacket and RyanS12, while stech81 is still in with a shot at 4 strokes off the pace. There are a lot of rivalry games on tap this week, so perhaps a chance for the standings to get stirred up a bit.

Standings through week 12:

SPRITE6 67-50 (57.3%)
BornAJacket 64-53 (54.7%)
RyanS12 64-53 (54.7%)
stech81 63-54 (53.8%)
Texwood 60-57 (51.3%)
Buzzforlife 58-59 (49.6%)
BFL, Jr. 57-60 (48.7%)

I haven't had much spare time to think about these picks for a month or so, and that trend continues. I'm just going to take the dog in every rivalry game and give the points for Duke @ Miami and LSU @ A&M. Here's how that looks:

LSU
NC State
Georgia Tech
Kentucky
Michigan
Virginia
Miami
Auburn
South Carolina
Florida

Mr. Texwood is off to a fabulous pre-GT win on Saturday. For starters the contest is set up perfectly with background, the standings and the schedule. Then, he selects LSU to cover that 5 point spread they were giving up. Kudos to Mr. Stech81 for the same insight with the Tigers.

The rest of us had Turkey for Thursday.

Can't wait for the Pack and the Cheats in about 8 1/2 hours from now, tough Tobacco two!

I will take Lsu! I'll graciously take an L for that one since I'm late
UNC
GT
Louisville
Ohio St
UVA
Miami
Auburn
Clemson
FSU

Are you recounting votes up there in Michigan? Did Jill Stein hire you with a portion of that 2.5 million?

We might be able to put the fix in with Mr. Texwood on here to get your 64 wins up to 68.

Next thing you know, N.Dame & Syracuse & Louisville & Dah U & Dawgs, will be ripping off our sounds/finger movements on third down.

Not part of this week's Pick 'Em, but you have to feel good about Derek Mason leading Vandy to a bowl with an unlikely win over the Vols tonight. By all accounts, Derek is a salt of the earth kinda guy...

I thought Kentucky would cover but I never thought they would win.

I also didn't expect Florida's offense to be so bad... That line against Alabama this week will be big.
