I see that Cameron Duke has been hired as Marietta’s new football coach. Cameron has been the coach of my Alma Mater (Edgewater HS in Orlando) for the last eight years. He did an amazing job turning around that program. His 8 year record was 85-16 despite being 1-10 in year one. His teams contended for state championships nearly every year. Of note, he was Christian Leary’s coach at Edgewater. He is young (still in his 30’s), open and approachable with a great sense of humor. Marietta really made a great hire.
