Need to have a good week coming off the debacle in Tally. Coach Fire Danny Hall has taken a lot of heat over the years for a myriad of things. Some deserved. Some not so deserved. One of them has been not taking midweek games "serious enough"...which personally I think is nonsense.

In the link above, it highlights that Tech is 18-4 in our last 22 midweek games going back a little more than a full season. Anybody who follows D1 CBB much at all knows even the top teams in the nation are prone to losing midweek games as they often are throwing a lot of freshman arms and often against teams who are throwing their best in hopes of knocking off a big name. CFDH deserves the heat he gets for a lot of stuff thrown his way, but not for this assertion, IMO.

Just terrible. Down 12-2 in the 4th. Just being dominated...again.

It's early in the season. It's a midweek game. But, still.

This is very troubling to see. Maybe we'll come back. But, still.

Guessing Ryan will be the Saturday starter, until King is ready. He is in uniform, but his Twitter Acct. does not say anything about being injured and we know the Privacy Act prohibits Tech from disclosure. Obviously as a Jr.-R. he does not want pro. scouts to dig in.

With Gold and Hughes on Fri. and Sun. respectively, Pitts midweek, English/Parr as long arms, the pitching should be steady while taking us through the conference.

We have to figure out who can hit and field in the same game, every day out!

Sorry, I must be thinking of that Bulldawg Alex Wood, now with the Dodgers. Sad to say, I witnessed more of his starts with the Braves. Didn't Blake have a brother up at Buford or ? Was he a lefty or am I senile? You don't have to answer that last part, if I can remember to get to therapy.

8, 14, 8, 14. I see a terrible pattern. If I was Virginia Tech, I'd be licking my chops right now. Just get on base and we'll beat ourselves and assure they get around.

I hope our guys are embarrassed. They should be. If they aren't, then this season is going down the toilet before April even gets here.
