Orangenecks tied at Cuba 2-2 in the top of the 3rd. If the Kitty Cats can get a win tonight, the Good Guys will have picked up a game in the standings on all 3 teams ahead of us in the Coastal. Note, the Escort Service Academy defeated the French earlier today to even their series (being played in KY).

Ryan looked great yesterday. If Ryan can pitch like that on weekends and we find another starter to go along with him and Gold...watch out!
Hughes didn't make the trip because we can only take so many on the road by requirement.
He wasn't going to pitch, therefore no need to take a spot up. Nothing major, he will go next Sunday vs. Devils.

Thanks, mate. Gold-Ryan-Hughes could (and I stress "could") be as good a weekend rotation as we've had in a while. We've had years where we had studs pitching on Friday and Saturday and then a big drop off to Sunday. Hughes as a Sunday starter off Gold & Ryan is encouraging.
Some of these freshmen arms out of the pen have also been very encouraging. Dulaney in particular.
I love Dulaney. The one who can throw almost mid-90's low in the zone on command has a dead arm after his injury in H.S. What if he comes back, and King, too?

What we need is more college beesball polls/rankings. I read an article at rr.com yesterday that celebrated Tech being in the top 25 of 6 college beesball polls. Six? That's simply not enough. We need more.
So, I propose we start our own. We can perhaps call it the Bunch of Guys (BOG) Poll.
My vote for #1 spot in the poll is Georgia Tech. I think they are the best team and worthy of the top spot. I'm being completely objective about this too. I am. Stop shaking your head. The one between your shoulders, I mean.

GT's BA is 0.319
Despite winning 2 of 3 and scoring 9 runs in 3 games. I guess there were more unearned runs than I thought in the series. Regardless, happy for the wins any day over stats.
