The 16-4 Jackets travel to 18-2 Cheaterville for a series which starts Thursday night.
Note, the Cheaters have moved the Friday game up a couple of hours from an originally scheduled first pitch at 7pm to now starting at 5pm. I guess they want everybody to get home in time to watch the Hoops Cheaters play Friday night against Indiana at around 10pm.
The Cheaters are currently #2 in the RPI - Tech is #19.
This is a huge in-division series for both squads. As pointed out in the Va Tech thread from this past weekend, Tech has won the season series over the Cheaters 5 of the last 6 seasons (last year the Cheaters broke thru with a 2-1 series win in Atlanta). Tech has won the last 3 series at Chapel Hell going 7-2.
The Thursday night game (6pm) will NOT be streamed via ESPN-3 (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!) though is available via PPV at the Cheaters official Cheater webpage. The Friday night (5pm) and Saturday afternoon (2pm) games are scheduled to be streamed live via ESPN-3.
We need to get at least 1 win and preferably win the series. Hopefully, we will avoid another debacle like we saw in our last ACC road series in Tally 2 weeks ago.
I bet UNC people cheat at Easter Egg hunts too. Or, if caught, just deflect, deny, lie, and all that stuff they normally do.
