This might be a better question for a mailbag but I will fire away anyway...

Given our constraints, limited staff compared other schools, and the necessity to find SAs (I do mean student-athletes) - Do we know if we implement some sort of technology to help find and evaluate players? I do not mean just for football, really any sport at Tech.

I was reading and scholarly thesis, or whatever you call those things, from the University of British Columbia about using AI and film to evaluate a basketball player's talent. Really interesting.

I guess another question would be how does college staffs evaluate talent based on the film? What do they look for? How can they tell someone has "it" based on the relative talent they face? I am not talking about the high schoolers that jump out of the video; how do we find the diamond in the rough?
