Just noticed I hit my 20-year anniversary as a JOL subscriber today.

When I signed up in October 2001, George Godsey was quarterback and we were preparing for a Thursday night game against UNC when Nat Dorsey would assume the nickname "Pepper Grinder." Paul Hewitt had a freshmen class that would eventually lead us to the Final Four. And GT baseball was about six months away from a trip to the CWS. Good times on the Flats!

At the time, Rivals was the premier site for "recruiting junkies" with their recruit database and article updates. The GT message board was hardly existent, if there even was one. No team coverage either...primarily just recruiting. In the early years, I would get my subscription comp'd by peering through the North gates at BDS to jot down the names of official visitors scrolling across the old scoreboard and sending them back to the GT site publisher.

The site has come such a long way since those times! Anyone else at 20 years?
