A few things of note, still some guys banged up including one of the DLs. It looks like Andrew Marshall is done for year and he is unlikely to come back for a 5th year according to my sources. His status should be updated on Thursday, but I think the rest of the OLs minus Brad Morgan will be ready for Miami. I still think you could see a OT's shirt get burned down there if there is another injury.

Parker Braun said the Miami DL and front seven are very big and fast and they like to blitz a lot and be aggressive. Said that they have been working on that.

TaQuon Marshall said they have spent TONS of time ball security and avoiding fumbles over the last week and a half of practice. Said he has noticed everyone including himself are doing a better job of keeping the ball high and tight.

Clinton Lynch said that he feels like he is almost back to his old self. He said he wasn't as explosive as he would like to be until the UNC game.

Ricky Jeune said that he has been working hard to be a better leader for the young players and he thinks that is why he got almost as many votes for captain, but he said that TaQuon is the true leader of the team.

Lots of talk about how TaQuon does a better job of keeping guys focused and calm in the huddle.

All of the players who played in the 2015 game in Miami said it was the worst experience they've ever had in a game because of the rain. CPJ had them outside yesterday in the rain just to be prepared for the weather. They said it helps a lot getting used to the wet ball.

TaQuon said he this is a big test for GT and he is really excited about the game. Said Miami has good experience and they fly around and are a big team, but said they are similar to Pitt and UNC, just better.

Clinton Lynch said they are looking forward to "crashing Miami's party" this weekend.

Parker Braun said the game in the Mercedes Stadium was a good test because it was louder than any visitor stadium.

Several of the players talked about the need to create their own positive energy playing on the road in what could be a small crowd in a big stadium.
