Golfing J's out west this weekend...Scottsdale, AZ

The Maui Jim Invitational out in Arizona for 3 days starting today. The GJ's will be paired with Cal and Baylor. Jackets tee off at 11amET (8am local).

Interested to see how this team progresses this year.

Jackets in 7th place at -4 after Round #1. Kent State with an impressive -20 to lead. One guy shot -7 and another -6.

Chris Petefish, back out west closer to home, shot 3-under 68 to lead the Jackets while Luke Schniederjans was 1 stroke behind Petefish.

Winning any tournament is always a nice goal, even in the fall schedule, but just hoping to see some progress from these young guys this fall to prep for the spring.

Andy Ogletree, who is playing as an individual this week, shot -2 as well. CBH's picks remind me of my bench outscoring my starters in fantasy FB so far this fall.

Jackets go 8-under today and sit at -12 and in 5th place heading into Sunday's final round. 15 strokes back of leader, LSU. Good to see the guys drop their scores from Friday.
