I was riding in the the car listening to 104.7 The Fish when the DJ announced they were broadcasting this afternoon from CHOA doing a Valentine's Day deal. She was interviewing KeShaun Freeman(#42). He said that he and his teammates were down delivering Vday cards the student athletes had made over the last few weeks.
KS mentioned that his 9 year old little brother spent several months in and out of CHOA when he was born. Was born at 26 weeks, had significant seizures, lung issues, etc. KS said it was very important to him and his family. Very impressive kid and well spoken, good representative of our great institution.
He had with him Errin Joe, Antonio Simmons, Tim Byerly, Dj White, and a couple others.
I know this won't be on the front page of the AJC, but impressive and great to hear about our kids doing community stuff!!!
