Been working the phones late into the night and early this morning. Going on not much sleep but here is the latest.
Multiple high level sources are telling me that Geoff Collins is the guy and that they moved on from Ken Whisenhunt. Collins will accept if offered the job pretty much straight up. One of the sources is the person that told me three days before PJ retired that he was retiring I just didn't believe that person.
I have one conflicting person telling me Whisenhunt is still alive.
Last night an agent buddy gave me one additional name of interest for the job who reached out to Stansbury, Baylor's Matt Rhule. There is no public info on his deal so it is hard to figure out if he would be or would've been a real candidate. Baylor is a private school so they don't have to share that info publicly.
